    4. Shame on me - I?m not very astonished. All the little signs: the bad quality of the pictures, the knew looking backside, the other rubbish sold by "hagekna41". But on the other hand 100% positive statements! I?m a beginner on Ebay - it has its own dynamic ... I have to learn I wonder why it make sense to "rebuilt" bars with original medals, when there is no profit? The single medals are worth about 200 Euro (Nimmergut-Katalog) and I paid about 150 Euro for this bar . The same stupid poeple destroy original bars I?m afraid I go slowly But thank you Saschaw for your comment

    15. It is a pleasure for me, to show you a few private pics of Otto von Schjerning. With great confidence the descendants of Schjerning hand over these pictures to me for some days and gave the permission for publishing. Otto von Schjerning was as Generalstabsarzt der Armee im Range eines Generals der Infanterie the highest ranking medical officer of imperial Germany. As you can see on these pictures he belongs to the inner circle of the Kaiser. Otto Carl Wilhelm von Schjerning 4.10.1853 born in Eberswalde near Berlin 1873-1878 studies of medicine in Berlin on the "chirurgisch-medizinisches FriedrichWilhelms-Institut" (educational institution for military medicals in Berlin) 7.2.1877 Dissertation 16.7.1878 Assistenzarzt 2. 17. a pic of the star from a Zeige catalogue with the dark blue center
    18. Georg von Euken - Gro?komtur Oldenburg house order. Note the star on the right chest!
    19. Thanks to all of you, now we know him. Additionaly I will post the information about Konteradmiral Hugo Emsmann I found in the Deutscher Ordensalmanach 1908/09. Most of the decorations seen on the foto are covered there. Only the Oldenburg house order Peter Friedrich Ludwig is missing. But the source of Bern D mentioned "Oldb. HuVO, Ehrengro?komturkreuz". According to Friedhelm Beyreiss "Der Hausorden .... des Gro?herzogtums Oldenburg" it is Gro?komtur - a cross a bit larger then the Komtur to wear together with a star identical to the grand cross star, but the star to wear on the right side of the chest (see the picture of Georg von Euken). I wonder why Emsmann pinned his star on the left side and why is the center of this star so light (the center of the star is normally dark blue) Any ideas
