Thanks, guys. I never actually thought I'd own one of these, but a stroke of luck/coincidence made it possible: This came up for sale out of an old collection just about the same time I received my end-of-year bonus from work. It was spent before my wife even knew how much it was. -

Nice to have original matching K98s! I have an import non-matched one that I use as a shooter, but no matched one. I don't know what these are going for anymore. You might check some of the gun sites such as gunbroker.com to find the market value. --Kevin -
Thanks, Jon and Nesredep! I could have spent my money and bought an RK or a chained SS dagger, but how much fun would those have been? My air gunner is the centerpiece of my collection, I really love it. Regards, Kevin
