    1. Translation: As a navigator, he showed devotion to the party of lenin and stalin and has strong morals and ideology. He is highly disciplined with himself and his subordinates, and is highly demanding of those in his command. He loves navigating and has mastered it, and passes on his knowledge to other navigators. He works on improving his own skills. _________________________ In the air he orients himself quickly and accurately. He approaches targets exactly on time. On August 10, 1945, he bombed _____ and executed the mission successfully. On August 15 and 16, 1945, he bombed _____ and ____ and was successful. The big blank is a sentence that was somehow missed. Also, I'm not sure about the city names. Any help is appreciated, as always! And Rick, I'm still not sure; what specifically suggests nuclear testing? The part in the OL citation about the bombing run score? Is there something I am missing here? Thanks!
    2. Really? Wow! That's pretty exciting! But what makes you think that was the case? Was there something in the citation I missed?
    3. The citation is finally here, and it turns out it wasn't for wounds. ?April 18, 1945 - When he broke through the enemy front llines on the west bank of the Oder river near the village of Grunov (?), he used his grenade to destroy an enemy machine gun that was preventing our forces from advancing. He killed 3 germans and captured 8.?
    4. Citation: ?As a navigator he is well prepared. He flies the Tu-4 in all conditions. He has a total of 2132 fight hours, 1551 during the day. He is a flight instructor. During 1954, he complete 13 bombing raids with a score of 4.6 and did 8 photo shootings with a score of 4.6. He set up 25 flight paths with a 4.7 score. He loves to fly. He systematically trains new navigators for mastering flights on the Tu-4 in all conditions.? Then, I think, recommended for an ORB (?)
    5. Citation just in! A really good one too! It appears he was lucky enough to destroy 1 of only 91 Ferdinand tank-destroyers available to the Germans during the war. ?As a soldier during the GPW, Comrade Fedorov showed bravery in his military tasks. During the army?s advance on the ______-______ direction (?), Comrade Fedorov during 4 days was on the front lines defying danger and death. He helped push back enemy tank attacks with his platoon and took out 3 Tiger tanks and 1 Ferdinand. In September of 1944 he was appointed delegate of communications between his regiment and brigade command. He delivered important documents to the command post more than once under enemy fire, thus allowing his battalion to fulfill their military duties.? As always, any help figuring things out is appreciated! Thanks! -Alex
    6. The citation: ?While crossing the Dnieper river he showed bravery under intense enemy fire. he crossed the river and counter-attacked enemy tanks, taking out 1 and its crew. During the battle for __________ (?) he and his men were cut off from the rest of their unit. He was brave and resourceful. He fought back repeated counter-attacks and kept his troop?s morale high. He broke through the attacking fascists and rejoined his brigade. He killed 10 fascists and despite the fact that he had a concussion, refused to leave the battle. During the battle of Geranitovka on November 17, 1943 under ferocious enemy fire, he did political work with the infantry and made sure they had high moral condition and aroused them to the attack.
