    1. Thanks to a friend I have both straight 9 Schinkels EKI & EKII. The EKI is missing the catch but with such rare crosses one cannot be pickie. Jim
    2. While I was in Germany this past month I bought this beautiful Kriegsmarine iron frame with photograph of a sailor. It appears to be made for a wall mount as there are two holes (one each side) for mounting. It measures 35cm x 21.5 cm. I don't collect WWI stuff but this was too nice to pass up. Jim
    3. The first is a EKII Juncker first model spange, second is a Boerger first model mini. Both are uncommon. Jim
    4. Another EKII spange document that I just received with the spange. This document is interesting as it has on the back the citation, which says (I hope translated properly): Stabsarzt (Surgeon Major/staff physician) Dr. Lohmann during the military operation of the Bataillon dated 7.6.1940 in the northern edge of Soissons with exemplary tranquillity during a street fight under enemy fire did his job and could help heavily wounded (comrades) in a difficult situation. Signed by: Generalleutnant Theodor Freiherr von Wrede, winner of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
