    1. the pages I showed you are coming from book which is in preparation. It is almost completed, next steps are language check by a native speaker and final check. It should come to the market in some languages as: EN, CRO, maybe DE and RUS. I will let you know as soon we are ready.
    2. Interesting, upper row, second from left - it must be 2 model of Order of National Liberation. Order of Partisan Star - it looks like all classes maybe with exception of 1st class has been made in Yugoslavia. thanks, welcome back Bryan.
    3. I made some additional images of this order, here is one image with macro photo of serial number. It seems to be original s/n.
    4. Hi Bryan, back home again? this is another type, they are quite different, look at flowers. You will find easily one of many the differences. welcome home Bryan
    5. it seems that we have new type of Medalja Reda. I've never seen this type before, the differences are clear.
    6. Great importance to broadening and strengthening of the front and training for new tasks had the first Congress, held in July 1945 in Belgrade. During the Congress, there was a merger of republic?s NarodnoOsvobodilnih Front (NOF) in a single organization, which got the single name of the National Front of Yugoslavia - NFJ, or 'People's Front of Yugoslavia. On this occasion, honorary titels has benn established as recognition for most deserving and most diligent workers in building and strengthening of homeland. Honorary titles are awarded as a sign of people's recognition of workers who are living example of advocacy work in the field of agriculture particularly important and have personally contributed to the development and progress of the national economy of FNRJ. Workers of socialist construction could be recognised with honorary titles: - udarnik - champion of socialist labor - particularly diligent (prominent) champion of socialist labor - hero of socialist Labor of state republic - hero of socialist Labor of FNRJ As far I know this order has been given to 'Hero of Socialist Labor of FNRJ', as you wrote between 1945 and 1953. I know 'udarnik' badges, there are many of them one for each year. Do you know what award has been given to bearer of 'Hero of Socialist Labor of State Republic'? I know that it should be award of republic FNRJ but I haven't seen any such award. Did bearer of other honorary title get any awards badges? waldemar
    7. do you know it, was this medal be given to special guest or you could buy it in each shop? Thank you SasaYU
    8. Thank you for comments, I'm posting reverse of that medal. We know that first YU awards has been granted on 7th and 25th September 1944. We know that during the war supply interruptions took place, sometimes fighters has been awarded with other awards as the should get because of lack of these awards in the military units. Not everything went that time as it should. This could be explanation for some 'strange' combination seen sometimes at early awards. Even the ribbons for earlier awards has been made in soviet union. After the war the first medal manufactured in ZIN-Kovnica was Medal for Narodny Merit (Narod could be translated as Nation or Peoples) which has been established on 12th June 1945.And of course with production of medals the supply with ribbons and ribbon-bars had to be implemented. This medal has poor quality you will find that the rimm has different width and thickness (what you can not see on this image), it is hard to say if this medal has been really manufactured in this way but there are some good reason to think so. It is possible that this is one of the first medals made by ZIN Kovnica the problem with not available (proper) ribbons has been solved in that way that available ribbons has been used. But who knows? wlodzimierz
    9. Hi Enzo, do you mean that some prices went so high or that some awards has been not sold? It would be interesting for all of us to know your reflection on that auction. thanks wlodzimierz
    10. I found these medals, the right one has other ribbon-suspension not only other shape but also other size. Additional this right medal is thicker as other medals. Have you seen such medal with this ribbon-suspension, is this genuine medal? What is you opinion?
    11. Gents, There is a new catalog: Serbia, Yugoslavia, Catalog Orders Medal 1858 - 1941 on ebay.com: http://cgi.ebay.com/Serbia-Yugoslavia-Cata...id=p3286.c0.m14 It must be quite new one. Has anybody already this catalog, your opinion? regards w
    12. Thank you. Maybe we will see some day a group with all early documents with serial number and corresponding awards. I think that this group could be complete but there is no direct link between documents and awards. As it was the case in early awarded documents.
    13. Gents, it is not easy to find a group of communist awards of Yugoslavia. Particularly hard is to find group with all documents and awards, since certificates where given separately for each award, therefore it is very difficult to find out what awards were given to a certain person. This shown group seems to be complete, I'm not sure if there were certificates for Long Army Service medals, I haven't see such document till yet. The same for Medal 30 years Victory over Fascism.
    14. The dealer gave me this text: 'On the occasion of 600 years after the Kosovo battle, the commemorative volume of the Kosovo battle 1389-1989 was issued to important guests during the celebration. On the avers side are two twisted swords with broken ends. On the revers side is the oath of emperor Lazar.' I think that this decoration was not given to the participants of this battle. but who was important guests and how much long was this celebration? Who has issued this decoration? I hope we will get good answers. waldemar
    15. I forgot this image, you can see differences between both orders, beside the length of sword, letters have different size.
    16. You can see hier differences between Order of National Army 1st class, left made from tombac without any hallmarks and right made from gilded silver with hallmarks. You can see that the order on right side is higher as this on left side. The reason: the ring of laurel leafs is much thicker in order on the right side. Is the right order so called order with 'convex star' and the left one with 'flat star'? What do you think?
