Badge posted in first post is a copy and a very ugly one(lack of quality, wrong hinge setup, very bad made in general, doesn't look like anything it should) as I stated on a another thread. The one Ostin posted also look it could be wrong...but could use some better pics...(it looks like a wannabe German production wartime badge but I don't see the numbers on the back that should be there)
Hello, Yes, that on the picture is "Partizanska spomenica", I am not so sure about the collar tab so I am going to let someone else help you with that... Regards
In a fact its the same photo , who knows... maybe Milan decided to sell his order ...but I rather think that somebody has stolen his photos(as they are not protected as they should be) and decided to have some "fun" :violent:
"OZNA sve dozna" > "OZNA discovers everything" or "OZNA finds out everything" "UDBA...sudba" that would sound something like this: "UDBA...(is final)destiny" =death L.
You will find his photo very hard(maybe someday in some archive)..after all, OZNA and UDBA were notorious institutions, so it is logical that all related documents and photos are top secret and probably destroyed.
First of all...congrats Waldemar for excellent job and effort on your book, we can see it is on a good way to be completed soon, it`s sure going to be a must have collectors guide You will be able to read it when the book is published :D
Hello Zhukov, Nice order, congrats! But I am afraid that unfortunaly the number isnt so low...probably the rest of the serial number has been covered with the "pin"(it was converted from "screw nut" type)
I know this thread is very old but...I have obtained new interesting information about this grouping i.e. about its owner Branimir(Branko) Radelic. Branko Radelic Political commissar(politicki komesar) of IV POS-a( IV Sea Sector of the NOVJ navy)- he was put on this function after November 1943., his assistant was Vlado Bagat(National Hero)...later on B. Radelic was set as political commisar for base in Italy. This is a good start, but I hope I will "dig up" some more information. I am planing to put an order for archival research about "Order of the Red Star" that was awarded to B. Radelic and hopefully find something interesting...
Thank you, I am glad you like it... By the way, as this cross has nothing to do with the area I collect I will probably put it on sale...would anyone be so kind to help me with its realistic value?
You can see its dimensions on the first picture(it includes written measurements) (click on the picture to open bigger image!!!) At this moment I don't have enough precise scale to weight it... The cross IS magnetic. There is a small rattle within the frame. It has no smell... I didn't taste it :cheeky:
