Look at what I have got today................. great photo with beautiful orders in a superbe quality !!!! Photo is made in Breslau ............. the medal bar is pure prussian .................. but then he wears a very very very wonderful Braunschweig Orden Heinrichs des L?wen Komturkreuz AND Brusstern zum Komturkreuz !!!!!!!!!! On the medal bar he has: red eagle 3 with bow , crown order 3 , DA 25y , KDM 70/71 , cross 1866 , centenarmedal 1897 with that long military career and that great neck-breast bling-bling would an ID of this man be possible? thanks for all your help , enjoy the pics Heiko

Any chance to find this man? Great pre 1897 medal bar what shows my biggest problem again not to have any ranklist before 1900..... - and no epson of course.... Prussian-Baden medal bar with EK2 1870 , KO4 X , RAO 4 , Baden Z?hringer Lion without swords I think , DA 25 , KDM 70 + cross 1866 photo is taken in Freiburg / Baden any help is very welcome as always!!! .........hmmmm , now that is not really a noncom bar - ok , the Ludwigscross was a noncom award given to people who normally never would get a combattant award - but this guy got even two of them !!! Now you have a combattant bar with one noncom on it...... :wacky:

Here is a very rare photo of a noncom bar on a very old navy man !!!!!!!!!!! I would say rather unusual and very nice combination....

.... on my card he is written with two s "Grisstede" and the photo is dated 1914 and written by someone who knew him because the boys are named!!!

...are not good Here is a old man with one neck order (unknown) , one breast star (unknown) and a 5 place Frackspange with , you can imagine, something unknown on it........... N?1 red eagle , N?2 crown order and N?4 Centenarmedal are clear... N?3 is too blurry for a statement (for me) and N?5 is unknown again.... under the photo is written: Kapit?n Ed. Kopff (Eduard? Ropff? ) , no date and no place.... If someone would be so nice to help me with the unknown ones...... thank you Heiko

Anybody has informations about what Hauptmann Grisstede of Infanterie Regiment 77 did during the war??? Additional orders , wounded ? , higher rank ??? Any informations are welcome Here is a nice photo of him from 1914 directly before the war has started - note his red eagle with crown !!!

really bad picture quality this time.... this paper has seen a lot of trouble and is nearly at the end of his life.... some kind of civil navy captain with a 5-place medal bar : red eagle 4 , crown order 4 , DA or Landwehr-DA ??? , Oldenburg house order ??? and in last place the good old SEHO on his buttons is the same sign as on his cap - maybe the sign of his shipping company - looks like crossed key and anchor ........... no place , no name , nothing on it that helps.......
