    1. Thanks to all for the comments. I found this bronze Hymmen & Co. Close Combat Clasp this past weekend at the MAX Show. I still has a pretty nice bronze finish remaining. Best regards, Tom
    2. Hello guys, I bought this simple two-placer at the recent MAX Show. I think the RAD 4-Year and Westwall look really nice, side by side on a medal bar. Best regards, Tom
    3. Last year at the 2011 MAX Show, I was finally able to buy a Customs Service Medal bar that had eluded me for far too long. One year later, at the 2012 MAX, I was able to find another gem of a Customs Service bar. This one is only a three-placer, but it is in mint condition and I couldn't pass it up. Hope you like it! Best regards, Tom
    4. Hello guys, Here is a six-placer that I bought last weekend at the MAX Show. It features both the Anhalt Friedrich Cross and the Anhalt Order of Albert the Bear. It looks like this bar was originally a four-placer of the Weimar Period and it was subsequently upgraded in the 30s to the configuration we see here. It looks as if the backing plate was elongated and the medal bar was altered/modified, rather than doing a completely new remount. From looking at some of the construction traits, I think there is a good possibility that Gebrüder Godet may have done the upgrade work on this bar. Best regards, Tom
    5. Here is the reverse: I am happy to say that the old glue/tape residue on the back of the 1905 Prince Regent Luitpold Jubillee Medal came off well with the use of "Goo Gone".
    6. Hello to all, I bought this Bavarian officer's medal bar at the MAX show this past weekend. Paul Chepurko was able to identify this medal bar as belonging to Major Friedrich Seuter. I believe it was the BZ3b that made the identification possible. Hope everyone likes it. I was pleased to be able to add this wonderful medal bar to my collection. Best regards, Tom
    7. Thanks, Claudio! I found this little gem last weekend at a gun show. I never expected to find something this nice at a gun show so I was pleasantly surprised. Best regards, Tom
    8. I think this is a rare maker for a Hindenburg Cross. This is the first one I've seen in 36 years of collecting: Paul Küst of Berlin logo:
    9. Maybe not immaculate, but here is a Godet Spangen in a deluxe storage case. Best regards, Tom
    10. Hi guys, Here is a medal bar that I bought over the weekend at the OVMS Show. I have a feeling that this one will be identifiable, so I have already started looking through the 1924 Officer's Rank List in hope of finding him there. Best regards, Tom
    11. Hi guys, I was finally able to find an Italian Order of the Crown- Knight's Grade to complete this officer's grouping. Best regards, Tom
    12. This one is without the 'J.F.S. 42' markings on the black paper:
