There is color throughout -- and colour too -- but most of what is there comes in the addition of ribbons to the entry for each medal (in addition to the ribbon chart). As most of the medals are still shown naked, they don't add much color to the presentation. More importantly, many of the old laughable perstent errors remain and, for those who want the volume as a price guide, get the special edition that comes pre-packaged with a large grain of salt. Still, a useful reference.
