    1. This bar, {along with the Gen.Maj August Hagl medal bar grouping} arrived this morning. Can it be IDed? Thanks in advance to the experts! Pierce
    2. Hi. I do not believe he had teh EK Spange. I have seen a pic of his medal bar etc...no spange on it, no pics of him wearing the spange. Best regards Pierce
    3. There is no definate list of awards unfortunatly. He did receive many more than what were on the ribbon bar.
    4. Goring and his awards is something i have researched for a good many years....I have always had my doubts about this medal bar in the RAF museum ....the Flower War medals were the thing. I have seen a pic of him wearing a similar medal bar but with no Flower War medals. Here is the pic. I can see the following: EK, HHOX, Friedrich Order, Zah. Lion with Oaks, HCX, DA25, DA18, possibly West Wall/Anschluss medal, Luftshutz 1st Kl, Bulgarian War Medal. The ribbon bar pictured above does look to the same as the one he wore. What are the awards on the 2nd row? 1. Bulgarian Order of St. Alexander? 2. Italian Order of SS. Maurice + Lazarus? 3. Danish Order of Dannebrog? 4. Turkish War Medal/Italian Order of the Crown/Croation Order of King Zvonimir? 5. Bulgarian Order of Civil Merit? 6. Bulgarian Order of Military Merit/Bulgarian Order of Bravery/Romanian Order of Aeronautical Virtue? 7. Finnish Order of the White Rose? 8. Swedish Order of the Sword? 9. Italian Order of the Roman Eagle? 10. Japanese Order of the Rising Sun? 11. Spanish Order of the Yolk and Arrows? Best regards Pierce
    5. Hi all. I studied Milch and his awards earlier this year, some of us are unsure if he wore the 25+12yr long service combo or the 18+4yr combo....he definately was not entitled to the 25yr cross as far as i can remember. Best regards Pierce
    6. Ah but he knew i was after it, kinda got 1st refusal! It really is a great group and i'm so glad i got it!! :jumping:
    7. Picture of von Ribbontrop with his medal bar. i see von dem Bach in the picture also! :Cat-Scratch:
    8. Hi. Attached is my latest acquisition, the medal and ribbon bars of Vizeadmiral Werner Grassmann. Does anyone know how this bar was originally identified? Did he have any other awards or decorations? I refer to neck orders etc? Thanks Pierce
    9. Hi Timo, The 2 middle ribbons on the 4-place are fire service decorations, possibly 1st and 2nd class. The last ribbon i think is something Italian. The 3-place is unusual, 1 German Political award and 2 Spansih awards, both for Civial War Service. This ribbon bar could be a pre-Sept 1939 bar, belonging to someone who fought in the Spanish Civil War, whilst participating in some shape or form in the 1936 Olympics. Best regards Pierce
    10. Thanks Rick and Werner for clearing that up! My heart was in my throat there for a while! Rick, does Paul's ranklist not only cover the Army up to 1924? My interest is in the Kriegsmarine Officers and their medal bars! Kind regards Pierce
    11. ok...........is it possible that he could be on some list with these awards? I ahve seen his award list on the Axis forum, BMVO listed there. Rick, does his Bio that you have list these awards pictured? Thanks to you both Pierce
    12. Hi Claudio, I will have a look a the maker tonight, can't remember of hand what it is. Best regards Pierce
    13. Hi Rick! Can you confirm that it belongs to who i was told? i.e. Gen.Maj. Heinrich Seywald? Is it a possible combo for any other officer? Can you post his biography etc? Kind regards Pierce
