Looks fine to me. Some sort of civilian who was in a military official's wartime job. Must be a pre-1915 Italian Order. Given the time gap while Germany and Italy were enemies during and after the war, I'd expect anyone decorated when Benito and Adolf decided to be pals after all in 1937 to have gotten the Officer rather than Knight grade.
Impossible to guess what SORT of person from this combination.
You need a nice Epson scanner. No other kind. No "bargain" second bests.
Many thanks Rick, it was a great find in my opinion!

I took the liberty of Cropping it for you
Can you post a close-up shot?
Particularly of the hinge and pin area
as the detail is poor in this.

from the medal bars and ribbon bars above, the hamburg cross and FA cross are in different places ....from looking at the pics of Ribbontrop in the book i have, the order was as follows:
FA Oldenburg Cross followed by Hamburg Hanseatic Cross.

WOW!
Congratulations!!
BTW, here's something I've seen sometime ago... yes the order is different, but still....
Hi all!
Yes i have seen a picture of him wearing this bar (5-place)...it is at the start of Formanns book on Political and Cival awards of TR....also on p.g. 39 of the same book there is a picture of him with the Spanish Foreign Minister....in this one he is wearing the Flower War medals on his bar, all in order, not back to front as on the spange posted by Claudio.
I also heard some time ago that his medal bar was in the same museum in USA as the 1939 Star of the Iron Cross.....the museums name has slipped my memory now...any truth to this?
Best regards

Medal bar purchased recently, ID'ed as belonging to Admiral Werner Fuchs.
I cannot get the picture uploaded as it is too big and nothing else seems to be working... so i am pasting the link to the meal bar, which i was able to upload on another forum.
Let me know your thoughts

Can this medal bar be identified?
in Germany: Imperial: The Orders, Decorations and Medals of The Imperial German States

Hi. This bar arrived yesterday and has been attributed to a Luftwaffe Officer....i was hoping we could get a name for it to see if it matched teh name i was given....i think this could be a common enough combo of awards, but lets hope the experts can narrow it down.
Best regards
