And the last award for which I have a photo is the Belize Defense Force ( BDF ) 15 th Anniversary Medal. Belize got his independence from United Kingdom on 1981, but the Belize Defense Force was formed in 1978, so I do not really know if this medal was issued from 1993, or 1996, but it is what it is. The Long Service Medal of Belize had also been established on 16 August 1991. It's a Civil Award to those who have served consistently in an official or civil capacity, with dedication and distinction. I know because I saw it, that ELM from Singapore was a tender for the contract to manufacture this medal, but I do not know if they won the tender. It was also established on 16 August 1991, to Belizeans and foregin nationals as an outstanding distinction for those who have rendered meritorious service to Belize, or Belizeans. Hello Gentlemen, It seems there is now a good quality pictures of Order of Distinction, the 2nd ranking of Belize Order, awarded to H.E. the Ambassador Ho of the Republic of China, on 15 September 2016. This Order is a one class Order, and is manufactured by Cleave from London. Cleave is well known for its pristine amazing quality of manufacturing. This Order was established on 16 August1991. The Nishani Mapinduzi is a more "general Order of Merit", which, as long as I understand, exist also in single class, a sash badge on a sash + a breast star) Quality is not exceptional. In 2017 Colin Cameron was awarded the Order of National Achievement in the rank of Grand Achiever. Which as you see correspond to a neck badge with a breast star (which in british knighthood system would have correspond to a 2nd Class). Hello Gentlemen, Few collector among the community have come to the fact that the Order of the Lion of Malawi, which was the onliest Order of Malawi from 1967 to 2008, is now obsolete for about 12 Years. Just likely because so few photo of Order of National Achievement (which have replaced it) are available. The Order of Achievement was instituted on 4 May 2009, in 6 Classes : Most Excellent Grand Commander, Grand Commander, Grand Achiever, Principal Achiever, Senior Achiever & Achiever. The same General de Division Guy Blanchard Okoî , At another ceremony on 31 December 2019 (he's wearing the same medal, but on different sequence on 2rd row). The medal in the middle position of the 2nd row is unknown to me (ribbon green/yellow/red). As I know a Medal was instituted for the 50th Anniversary of the Congolese Armed Forces in 2011. On his first 2 row of awards, he's wearing Orders & Medals from Congo Republic. On the neck : Commandor of the Order of Merit. 1st Row (left to right) : Order of Merit Officer, Order of Merit Officer, Order of Merit Knight. 2nd Row (left to right) : National Order of Peace Officer, Military Valor Medal, and the 3rd one it's the first time I see it (ribbon green/yellow/red). It could be 50th anniversary of the Congolese Armed Forces Medal 2011, or Army Brotherhood Medal ?? 3rd Row : Legion of Honor Officer ( France ) , France National Order of Merit Knight , France Croix de la Valeur Militaire. 4th Row : UN Medal for UNAMIR Mission in Rwanda 1993-96, ??? , Maybe National Order of Peace Knight (not sure). Hello Gentlemen, On Monday 8 June, President Pierre Nkurunziza of Burundi passed away. This forum is NOT the place to discuss politic issues, or any issues involving action of politician, but only Order, Medal & Rank Insignia. Since yesterday I did some research on him, and I found these 2 photo, which were likely taken after President Nkurunziza was elected for the 3rd time in 2015. He is wearing a Presidential Collar. We can see that this collar was a bit inspired by the Collar of the Legion of Honor, which is worn only by the President of the French Republic, because of the letters R B (for République du Burundi ), (ie on the french Legion of Honor Collar, the suspension bear the letters R F for République Française ). It is likely that this collar was designed only to be worn by President Nkurunziza, because no photographic evidence that former President of Burundi wore this insignia. Hello 922F, It's not hard enamel, but I never saw this Order in hard enamel. There is the 3rd Order of Panama (created in 1970), Order of Belisarrio Porras (I mean, it is the Panama 3rd Order by sequence of creation), which for this one, exist in various quality, as I have it produced by Fibo of of Bogota (from the 1970ies), and by the Panama supplier of nowadays , also with same "soft enamel". Here I sadly have only photo of the Belisario Porras Order 1st Class made by Fibo of Bogota. I ounce saw a 2nd Class set for sale in France (also Fibo Made), that one ex Klenau Auction from the 1970ies. Regards. Emmanuel
