    1. The "Richterzeitung" 1918 lists two Amtsgerichtsräte with HHOX:

      1) Amtsgerichtsrat Brachwitz, Berlin -> this is Fritz Georg Richard Brachwitz, born 16.4.1875 in Berlin, 1912/13 Amtsrichter in Thorn, first name acc. to Adressbuch Thorn. He must be the HdR Brachwitz from RIR 6.

      2) Amtsgerichtsrat Otto from Nienburg. I have not yet been able to find his first name, but he should be the Olt dR Otto from Nienburg/Weser in IR 82 in the 1910 Prussian ranklist. Probably would be found in the Adressbuch Nienburg.

He might be the Hptm dL from LIR 31 without first name in our list.

Acc. to the Richterzeitung, he also got Hamburg and Bremen Hanseatic Crosses.

    2. Another Jewish recipient: Olt dR Friedländer is Heinrich Friedländer, 1885-1959. He was a lawyer and published a lot about corporate law. Emigrated to the US in 1938, but came back after WW2.

      His HHOX is mentioned in

"Vom Konzern zum Einheitsunternehmen: Aktuelle Entwicklungsperspektiven des deutschen und europäischen Konzernrechts", Alfred Bergmann et al.,  de Gruyter 2020

(it says that he stopped six British tanks)

    3. Olt Junge must be Heinz Junge, born 1893, formerly in FAR 24, during WW1 in FFA 38, later Direktor at Focke-Wulf and during WW2 Major and Deputy Cdr of a PoW Camp (tried for that after the war).

His HHOX (and his Mecklenburg-Strelitz 1st cl) is mentioned in Stefan Geck, "Dulag Luft, Auswertestelle West: Vernehmungslager der Luftwaffe für westalliierte Kriegsgefangene im Zweiten Weltkrieg", Lang 2008

    4. Prof. Dr. Arthur Georg Sigismund Ungewitter, 1885-1955, was Präsident of the OLG Frankfurt during the Third Reich.

Together with a lot about his career, his HHOX is mentioned in

Arthur von Gruenewaldt, Die Richterschaft des Oberlandesgerichts Frankfurt am Main in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus: Die Personalpolitik und Personalentwicklung, Tübingen 2015

More info (including other awards) about Dr. jur. Lothar Rosenberg, 1895-1979:

    5. The same 1967 book also lists a "Ritterkreuz des Hausordens von Hohenzollern" for Prof. Dr. Jonathan Zenneck, 1871-1959, who was also Hptm dR in the Marineinfanterie:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Zenneck

The book includes the attached citation for action during the first Flandernschlacht in Nov 1914. I wonder if this is rather the Princely one?

      Hello Friends,

I have Weydenhammer as Weidenhammer in my lists, Bavarian Officer.

      BMV4X, EK2, BZ3bX, HT, ÖM3K, TH

No Hohenzollern, either Royal or Princely...

      ...and lots of THANKS!!!

      Best,

      Daniel

Yes, he is in Verlustlisten as "Weidenhammer" as well.

I find two references for him (during his lifetime) which seem to be independent from each other:

      - A 1967 book, "Deutsche Offiziere in Staat, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft" by Franz Kurowski lists Rudolf Weydenhammer with the "Ritterkreuz des Hausordens von Hohenzollern".

      - The German Who's Who 1970 lists him with "Hohenzollern-Hausorden". I couldn't find out whether earlier volumes list it as well.

    7. Hptm dR Lohmeyer from Pioniere should be Paul Adolf Fritz Lohmeyer. Born 25.11.1875 in Thorn, in Verlustlisten with PR 23, later Präsident der Reichspostdirektion Frankfurt. Died 13.10.1944 in Königstein according to his death certificate at ancestry.

    8. Here is a Dr. Rudolf Weydenhammer (1890-1972), whom several sources credit with the (Royal) HHOX. During WW1 in Bayr. FAR 3. He was heavily involved in the Austrian 1934 putsch, later Wehrwirtschaftsführer, in the Aufsichtsrat of BMW and also Ehrensenator of Munich Univ.:

In our list, we have a Robert Weidenhammer, who got the HHOX in 1917 as Major, but it cannot be him.
