Here is some more info on some Müller, though I couldn't find his first name and cannot tell who this would be in our list:
Landesoberbaurat (in 1938) Müller (-Hannover), obviously born in 1888, Pionier Officer during the war
Hannoverscher Kurier, 13.5.1938
Some more info on Ernst Dieterichs:
Hannoverscher Kurier, 10.9.1934

He served with the Stab/Luftzeuggruppe Moskau and with the Feldluftzeuggruppe Finnland, so at least a KVK, maybe even something Finish? You don't happen to have a death date? Thanks!
To all: I found a "Josef Ernst Dewies" at ancestry.de. As a non-paying member, they will not let me see the data. If anyone is a paying member, please make a screenshot of the available information. At least we could find out, who he married in Berlin and when.
Dewies married Gertrud Maria Kutscheidt in Berlin-Wilmersdorf on 19th July 1923.

Could this be a Cartier Tank?

I guess this has been discussed before, but still: Did Göring really wear two Luftwaffe long service crosses instead of two medals? Is there any photo that shows him wearing this medal bar? It would belong in our "Mistakes in Wear" thread.
(Certainly, crosses look much fancier.)

Chris,
fully agreed!
I think we put a deadline in spring and I think we can go public by mid 2024.
Best,
Daniel

Hello Friends,
thanks a LOT for the additional Info.
This thread started in 2007 and still, we are not ready.
I THINK we are less than 50 people short of being complete.
Best,
Daniel
Daniel, I am sorry but I have to say this: we cannot go on for another 10 or 15 years. We have put a lot of effort into this, and there is so much new information we have found, it has to go out and should not be withheld from the public. We now find only very few new cases per year, rather like 5-10, at maximum. That would take us another 5-10 years, at least. And we don't even know if that total number you mention is anywhere near correct.
Again, sorry, but someone has to bring this up.
Chris

One of the two Lt dR Schönberg in our list must be the later Prof. Dr. Fritz Schönberg (1897 in Gartz - 1963):
