Ok, digitization of the Hannoverscher Kurier has advanced to 1917. Not much new info so far, but here are some cases we already have, as a start:
Hptm Günther Tidow was from Hannover, had the Hessen as well:
7.12.1917
Walther Wriede from Lüneburg, born 1894 (Matty had him already), KIA 1918:
2.12.1917

Hello, asking the community: Does anyone have a picture of GenMaj Ernst von Zimmermann (1860-1942)? He was cdr of 402. InfBrigade in 1918.

I have had this bar for many years, but only now found out what the last ribbon is: It is not, as Rick thought long ago, a regimental medal. It is the Dutch 1901 Wedding Medal (Huwelijksmedaille, https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huwelijksmedaille_1901) for the Wedding of Queen Wilhelmina and Prince Hendrik of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Besser, then OTL, must have been a guest at the wedding, which makes additional sense since he had a connection to Mecklenburg and several of their awards.

Hptm dR Dahse from FAR 241 should be the 1914 Lt dR in FAR 41, from Bezirk Rostock, but I don't find his first name.

The Hptm Stoermer, who received the HHOX around May/ early June 1918, is either the 1914 Olt from FußAR 1, Maj aD, or the 1914 Lt from FußAR 20, Hptm aD. Maybe it can be determined from their promotions who would fit.
