    1. Hi out there! I found this dog tag on the shore many years ago when I visited Kafjord in northern Norway. (you know, Tirpitz were located there). Can you help me with the identification?
    2. No markings! I havn?t seen those kind of figures before! I wonder if one can find something written about the figures or if they just have disappeard into the forgetfulness of history! Roine
    3. Yes, It?s the same in Sweden and especially in Stockholm. There they still using thick armour plates from Tirpitz to cover temporary repairs in the roads. Some of the plates are 3 cm thick. In Tromsoe, where Tirpitz sank, there is a school still having Tirpitz turbines driven something!
    4. Here is some figures which where sold to the public from 1942 to collect money for Winterhilfswerke. They are made in clay and painted. In German they are called Strewwelpeterfiguren. Theese particular figures are called; upper line: Kaspar mit Brezel, Puulinchen von flammen, Mohr mit schirm, Nicolaus - rote mutze, ??, Middle line: Weinenden katze, ?, J?ger mit gr?ner mutze, Daummenlutscher, Stuwwelpeter - stuppige haare, Lower line: ?, Hans-guck-in-der luft, ?, ?, Ludwig - einen arm hoch halten.

    10. Finland?s white Rose. The swastika wasn?t a nazi sign but General Mannerheim?s personal escutcheon.
    11. Hi Terry! A late answer is also an answer! The second medal is German established after ww1, Freikorps Hamburg. The city of Hamburg still have the three towers as their city arms. The third is Ehrenkreutz f?r frontk?mpfer from ww1. Then you have The Liberty medal for Finland or "Finland?s white rose" and the last one is also a rater ordinary Finnish medal but I cant?t remember its name. I send you some photos!
    12. Hi! I think it?s made of ordinary wool but the sack has been in water for a numbers of year and still in good condition. The whole shell were inpacked with gun powder sticks and after you dried one in the air a couple of minutes, it was ready to burn when lighted! Picture comes!
    13. (I didn?t reach to finish my text before the message went away) You can find these small sacks on the bottom of German shells. They have to be un fired of course.
    14. I want to show you very rare objects. It?s small sacks which contain gun powder inside the canon shells. They fitted to 12,7 cm
    15. the cloth can also be in poor condition! But the historic feeling comes anyway!
    16. Hi gents! Here is a nice book wich has been in water for 50 years. It deal with music history. Nothing special but it belonged to Tirpitz.
