    1. I am in the middle of a little project, and I need some information. Was there ever a medal awarded by the Japanese government to Japanese veterans of WW2, similar in purpose to the German Honor Cross following WW1? Thanks for any information you may have on this matter.
    2. While browsing on another forum, I noticed that one of Hitler's awards was something called a "Regimental Diploma for Signal Bravery in Attack." Can someone tell me what, exactly, this is? Thank you.
    3. Were these made locally, or were they minted someplace else and then shipped back to Iraq?
    4. Thanks for the info, Gentlemen. I'm guessing that running for political office in Thailand would be interesting.
    5. I thought Thailand sided with Japan during WW 2. What's the story with their so-called "Victory" Medal. Wishful thinking or rewriting history? Is this thing for real, or are they cranked out in some garage in Singapore?
    6. On the back of my 1939 War Medal, near the nine 0'clock position, are the leters "E.C.R.P." Can anyone tell me what these stand for? Thank you.
    7. Can anyone tell me who manufactures these, and how rare they are? Thanks.
    8. Thanks again for your help! In our hobby any information is usually useful information. NGL
    9. According to the seller, this medal was minted in the USSR. Would there be any hallmarks on the meda that would indicate where it was madel? Is there a way to track down any information with the serial number on the back? (#10693.)
    10. What's the verdict on this medal? Real? Fake? Don't know or care? The screw disc is not original to the medal; the seller says as much, but would like some opinions from people who know more than I do on these. Thank you.
    11. Thank you, Gentlemen. I appreciate your timely information. Nick
    12. Thanks, Gents. A bit of history on this piece. In 1972 I bought an ice cream pail full of coins from a guy who needed the money for a tachometer. Nearly all the coins were from the south Pacific area, and they all were pre-war, or wartime minted. Except for this piece. I noticed that there had been a suspension ring for a ribbon on the top of the medal, and I just assumed that it was some sort of a Japanese military award. Now I'm wondering if it wasn't some award that some poor chump took with him for a keepsake when he was deployed, and then was KIA on some hellhole in the South Pacific, and it ended up in the hands of some GI, who's son needed a tachometer, and eventually ended up in my hands. Anyway, it's mine now, and I plan on hanging onto it. Thanks again for you help.
    13. Can anyone tell me what this is? It's about the size of a US fifty cent piece.
    14. Does anyone know what these were made of?
