Just got a photo album of IR16 runs from about 1925 to 1940 some interesting early photos of unit heres one of them marching

The soldier next to him is a vize-feldwebel first of I was mixing up these chevrons with fencing ones now I realize the fencing ones are not as wide if the wound badge is silver are officers version the cut out type ?

I think maybe for ability for fencing after looking at picture again not sure about silver wound badge thanks Mark

Hello just got this photo are these cavalry lances at the front of the picture ? The soldier in the centre is he a seargent with EKI EKII is that a silver wound badge under the EKI ? A ny help with the unit thanks Mark

Hello yet anoter question the ring on the right arm of the soldier what does it represent ? Also can anybody recomend a good reference for Imperial uniforms then maybe I can answer some of these questions myself thanks Mark

Pre-1897 Ulan possable Brandenburg Ulanen Reg. Nr. 3 help on unit from Chip M can anybody help with what looks like a badge on the left of his tunic appears to have some sort of cord or braid attached to it thanks Mark

finally oberfeldwebel Leerhoff in 1940 picture out of soldbuch wearing Imperial EKI I wish the pic was larger to see if he was wearing his F A Cross 1 class and black wound badge I wonder why hes not got a ribbon bar on tunic ?
