    1. Hi Marc I don't post very often, but I had to reply to this thread... You've done an amazing job capturing the U-505. The U-boot looks truly amazing and the new display looks fantastic! Thank you for posting these great shots. Perhaps one day, I can make the journey across the pond. Cheers Max www.atlantik-pirat.com
    2. Hi Chaps! I'm trying to find out some info on the blc ARG-1 (pic below), which was used on U-boats for navigation. Of the ones that I have seen (that supposedly came from operational U-boats), they have lacked a KM 'M' stamp or issue number. Instead they have had a Luftwaffe code (usually on the case). What I'm trying to find out is, was the ARG-1 specifically issued to the Kriegsmarine, or were they actually Luftwaffe instruments that were 'adopted' by the U-boat Arm? I'm currently on the hunt for one of these, but I don't want to spend a lifetime looking for an 'M' stamped version if they didn't actually exist! If anyone has any info, pics or even has one for sale, Please give me a shout.. Cheers! Max www.atlantik-pirat.com
    3. Hi Gordon Took delivery of my 'Torpedo Los' this morning from here in the UK.. Fantastic! For those of you thinking whether you should take the plunge, don't hesitate.. This may be fifty quid, but the weight and quality of the book plus the fact that it's packed full of info, makes it worth every penny. In fact, are you making a 'Los' Gordon? I purchased mine from http://www.militaryhistorybooks.com/ (in the UK). It was the place with the best price, cheapest and fasted shipping.. Cheers! Max www.atlantik-pirat.com
