    1. Hi Chuck, That my understanding as well now. They dont let much out of there countries, using the national treasure type of excuse. I under stand easily overcome with $$$.. I'll have to find some living relatives in russia.. Thanks for posting George PS some great item in the "commie" section as well. maybe I'll have to start collecting that as well.     2. I am really surprised on how much Imperial silver and gold awards survived, In the EAST. My understanding was most all item that were worth CASH would have been sold as scrap long ago. Well I guess that great for us collectors. Keep them coming Chuck. George

    12. and an older small cal. holster that the PPK fits in nicely Has lots of leather rot.. 1915 Berlin date No marks on the sauer holster. George

    21. Heres a picture of my grandfather and his fellow men.. Mom said all the of age men were all killed at the same place..as her father. An entire generation of men gone... George
    22. Thanks for the trans of the pass.. This is the letter My Grandmother received, with notice of his death. My mother was only 8yrs old, But remembers her tore it up, and her older sister got it from the trash and saved it. My aunt just recently sent it to us..I dont know german, is it of any interest? George
