Here's a look at the reverse that wood asked for. It looks to be the made like most tinnies of that period in regards to the sharpness of the reverse detail although the pin does look like it may have been reattached. -

That's a very nice tinnie you have there. VDA stands for Volksbund f?r das Deutschtum im Ausland (Peoples federation for the Germans in foreign counties). James. -
Peter, Your question about the logo wasn?t without merit from what you saw in the picture in the first post as it looked the same to me also, after looking at the actual badge under magi faction I believe the reason for it?s odd circler appearance is do lacquer buildup in the edges of the logo. James.
