Sometimes cavaliers of this order prefer to buy an older (pre-WWII) miniatures rather than modern ones. Because of aesthetic reasons Thanks to our colleague Pieter we have an opportunity to examine such interesting 4th class miniature from pre WWII period. He actually wore it a couple of times with white tie and together with his neckbadge of the Rising Sun This piece has diameter about 20 mm

Mickey, I don't think that this is the order box. More likely some presentation box ... For what? The kanji at the box cover should answer this question ...
