    1. And another document for type 4.1 badge, that was issued to private 1st class Kakuta Toyoaki on July 1, 1938. It looks like he was wounded during Russo-Japanese War Document
    2. This soldier was also awarded with 8th class rising sun order and 2600th national foundation medal. Here they are. Order (pay special attention to the cover of the box )
    3. Small document + badge
    4. Another very interesting group that was sold at eBay four or five years ago. Private Isada Eikichi was mortally wounded in action on January 1, 1942. He we have practically full set: badge + book + small add on document + photograph of Isada Eikichi. It’s obvious that plastic covers that sometimes could be found with small additional documents (see for example post # 184) came straight from such books. Soldiers get rid of these bulky books, but save plastic covers for preservation of the documents.
    5. And a little add-on – original application (with red seal) with following description: “Fell sick in battle at Heijian. Division at time of sickness: 27th Division Stationed in China, infantry 3rd platoon of the 3rd machine gun unit”. Application was filed September 31, 1941. Approval temporary membership document issued the next day October 1, 1941. Rightmost is the envelope addressed to the Chiba Prefecture branch of the Wounded Soldier Association.
    6. Some additional interesting examples of documents for type 4.1 and type 4.2 wound badges. A very interesting group for private 1st class Yuji Imai who fell sick at Heijian during the China Incident. Document was issued on September 4, 1941.
