      Actually the only ribbon that I saw without early ("early" in case of official japanese orders and medals) "sewed" style of gear attachement is this one. One with the glued stripes ... :)

      Same story with worn out ribbons and replacement, brand new one`s . Here comes a nice example from my collection On the left is "old" ribbon and on the right brand new replacement ribbon (authentic one of course )
