    5. Since 1905 Korea was occupied by Japan and was under its protectorate. On August 29, 1910 (less than a year from the time when this medal was issued) Korea became the part of Japanese Empire.
    6. De jure - korean De facto - japanese Most likely even the medal was manufactured in Japan (or a) by korean masters that were trained by japanese; b) by japanese masters that worked in Korea).
