Rocky, i'm not sure about the correctness of ribbon on your non combatants cross...correct colors should be: White/Light Blue colors are typical for either Bavaria or Schwarzburg.

Interesting indeed...does that mean that even though whole Germany was occupied by Allies, Norway was still occupied and administered by Germans? Even 2-3 months after Allied victory in Europe? -

Hi folks, this is all i have so far. in the future i want to have separate smaller display cases for Prussia, Bayern, Hanseatic Cities and one (currently displayed) for awards of remaining german states. I plan to have all the basic awards (1st, 2nd class) for bravery or military merit of all states + some other medals (like prussian verdienst cross etc).

Guys, I'm finishing my own medal display case and have a problem to solve....how to attach medals on ribbon to it? I don't want to sew them or use pins since both these methods leave permanent holes in the ribbon...see the pic: So any ribbon-friendly solutions/suggestions/ideas how to figure this out are welcome and strongly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
