    1. Here are mine. Screwback #185, obverse: Dolf
    2. Paul, You're right, I forgot about the Cuban Guards Badge. I had seen it already so I knew the Cuban Army also must have some kind of Guards military units, but completely forgot when replying earlier. But I didn't know of other Guards Badges from other countries, including Belarus! All 3 Guards Badges I have on my collection, that I mentioned on my PM, are from the Soviet Red Army, btw. 2 from the WWII and post-WWII period and 1 more recent. Last year I visited a couple of Russian Navy ships (a battleship and a cruiser I believe) that stayed here a few days, and they had some Guards aboard. They were all wearing their Badge, the more recent type (but not the new Russian Federation one), and I was happy to take some pics Anyway, these Guards Badges are very nice indeed! Regards, Dolf
    3. Ed, Thank you. I can try my best, but you already have a member who has a great knowledge about Mongolian awards for which I really fall in love about some 3 years ago. I'm talking of Jan (vatjan) to whom I owe most of the little bit I know. Thank you Jan! Regards, Dolf
    4. Ed, Oh, I'm deeply sorry, I guess I misunderstood the question! Anyway, I suppose only the Red Army had Guards units, so most probably they are the only ones who have such Badges I guess. Well, I guess we can find similar military units on other countries (guards were elite units in the Red Army, right?) but I don't know and never heard about similar units in Mongolian Army. Cheers, Dolf
    5. Ed, Mongolian Border Guards Badges? There are 2 pages full of them in Dr. Battusig's book (pages 88 and 89) ! I guess we do have the same book! I have myself a small collection of these Border Guards Badges ( 19 in all, counting different types and variations ) as it is a subject I like. Also like the State Security ones theme, Police, Army and Agriculture, and do have a decent collection on all these themes. Dolf
    6. Ed, No problem, not with you anyway I'm sure you know by now where I listed it on the For Sale section, I believe you were a member too in the past. Anyway, still a few cheap items for sale there, more to come soon, there or maybe even here, or somewhere else. Best, Dolf
    7. Paul and Ed, Even thought I'm a member of this Forum since some time ago, this is my 1st post here. I was until very recently the former owner of this piece, which I recently sold to that Chinese dealer. Would you have been interested in it, I had it in the for sale section of another Forum for some ten days, for half of the price the current owner is asking now! So you missed a wonderful piece for "only" $2,000.00 and with other optional payment methods, including PayPal!... Be alert next time! Best wishes, Dolf PS: oh, and btw, these pictures are in fact those I took!
