RDB Collection by Gefreiter Otto Badge with unknown NR marking and code Ges Gesch "gesetzlich geschützt" (legally permitted / protected by law) in a curious version of buttonhole in German called "Knopfloch Dekoration" or "Knopflochspange" The RDB badge is very small and its pin usually measures only 1.06 cm, so pinning it on clothing should not be easy. The option of using a buttonhole on the jacket is very comfortable.

Curiously, he wears an RDB insignia from the first version, a larger eagle with an older design. The 1st model RDB Insignia is from the early 1930s, without RZM marking, only Ges Gesch. marking (Gesetzlich Geschutz) legally protected. EXTREMELY RARE part. Size: 2.04cm by 1.09cm. versus the 2.02cm by 1.05cm of the 2nd version badges. Its main characteristics are: - Larger than the rest of the badges - Different stripes on each wing, the lines are different on the right wing and the left wing. - Plumage engraved on neck and wings. - Strong and short bill with marked nostril - The claws seem collected and do not come out of the swastika, they end at an angle. - Rear hitch formed by a metal piece added on the pin and welded to the badge, the rest of the pieces have the pin directly welded.
