    2. Did Fahnen- und Abzeichen-Fabrik M.FLECK & SOHN put labels on the reverse of the bars?
    3. This is interesting and everyone should take note. It is on the reverse of a medal bar that was constructed post war by the infamous "Austrian Medal Bar Faker." The label looks good and would take a lot of extra effort to have made and I wonder if it is an unused original that was for a uniform and then applied to this made-up bar. So far on this thread, there is only one other medal bar label from Austria. It's interesting to note that the label was sewn on the fabric by a machine prior to the bar being made. All the other labels on this thread appear to have been attached by hand after the bar was assembled. Unifrom Durbeck Wien IX Berggase 31 Brown on White cloth stitched on all four sides.

    19. Hi George, It's a Venezuela bar and the matching ribbon bar. Sadly I have no information on it and the Elephant badge came independently from all the bars. The China bar has a tailor's label on it to: Friedr. Sedlatzek Berlin W8 Lieprigerstr. 108 Metal 1 x 1.5 cm Which appears to be glued to reverse on a brown corduroy type of cloth.
