Cross 100% Original. Private made by jeweler. Most interested on this cross its small mark (bottom one). Try to describe how it’s look like (wolf head or?). Check France and German marks for silver came from other countries (they use special mark for items like this).

Hello, Noor. Sorry for strong word. This medal is extremely rare. Only around 9000 medals strike in silver. Not sure how many in bronze, but see one bronze medal here (newspaper from 13-05-2010). http://www.rian.ru/culture/20100513/234025606.html Estimate price for auction $75000. Here is a copy one in bronze for $18. http://auction-su.com/--50----18551905--,name,809613,auction_id,auction_details You may find this copy on EBay too. http://cgi.ebay.com/Russian-Medal-50-Years-Sevastopol-Defense-1855-1905-/160481019835?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item255d6a07bb Here you may see good pictures of the medals on silver and one in bronze (click on pic.) http://medalirus.narod.ru/Nag19_20/Pametn3/pt201.htm Check ring on your medal and lines inside cross. Imperial Russia St. George Cross 3rd Class w/ hand-made hanger
kustik12 replied to Claudius's topic in Russia: Imperial
White army use “old” original crosses (if they have in stock) or strike they own (look same but little differents) and start with new numbers (from 1 to ?). This one is Don Army Cross. More pictures here: http://medalirus.narod.ru/Nag19_20/Xrabr2/brav_don.htm -

Hello, Claudius. Second bow doesn’t mean anything. It’s just for nice looking. I have one too. Hanger (copy) and bow from Order of Glory. Original hanger it’s even harder to find. Regards, kustik12. -
