I'm curious about 2 berets I own. The black one is marked Compton Webb, but it looks like the date has been scratched out (to deceive?) The other beret is unmarked. Can anyone help me with date/authenticity? Thanks,Paul

I've never seen another. Does anyone have any information about the medal beside the fact that it commemorates the establishment of the Second Empire? What does the ribbon look like? Thanks, Paul
