Dave mate, THAT is EXACTLY what we are striving for here. BEEEUUUUTEEEFUL!! OK guys, start playing with those cameras. This will become screen saver city!! P.S. Dave, do you still have the shot of the DK leaning against the dagger. There was a few EK's I think, and may have also been an RK in the shot. Man, that one was KILLER!
Dolf, I think I'll start a dedicated thread for figures if you would like to re-post yours there to get us started. I think a lot of modelers here are just shy....
Christopher, You've got Dave B right there in the UK. He really is very good at this!! I was hoping he would post a few of his old photos. (Hint, Hint). Actually, it looks like Marc and Greg have been practicing. You probably wouldn't have to twist their arms to get them to photograph a collection like yours!!
Nice. I'm definitely going to grab that one too. Gordon, would you mind showing us how you do the water when you get to that point? I don't think I'll have much of a problem with the construction phase, but I have never done water. From the size of these monsters, it looks like it will be a lot of water too. Thanks.
This must be a hold over from my EK collecting, but I love variations. Here are a few of the 66th Infantry Divisions early SSI. Anyone have any others?? #1:
Oh, that is sweet. Thanks for posting it. I got a model of the Arizona for my birthday. My sub isn't out yet. I'm going to pick up a few books from Osprey about the German U-Boats for reference on the Type VII-C and the upcoming boats. They're written by some guy named Williams, or something like that....
In another forum far far away...... I began a thread that was somewhat successful. One of my English cousins thought it might be fun to do a similar thread here.
Basically, it's an opportunity to "showcase" your favorite medals, crosses, swords, daggers, guns, whatever, in an artistic light.
To get an idea of what I'm talking about, I think one of the best should start us off....... Dave B., where are you???
Hey Marc, How you been??? I always love to see any of your collection. I agree with Marshall. Very "period" looking. The braid adds a lot. I'm betting you have the first class line up before it's all over. Take care, and thanks for sharing this.
