      here's a IRAQI M80 helmet shell that has the same type of Polish WZ50 liner conversion for comparison

      it has the look of a Iraqi war bring back, I wonder why they would take the liner from a good Polish helmet and put it in the M1 type shell? then you would have a Polish shell missing the liner, unless the Polish helmet had a badly damaged shell and they salvaged the liner from it

      http://cgi.ebay.com/...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT I think this helmet might be a IRAQI helmet? notice it has a Polish Wz50 liner w / chin strap that has been crudely riveted in a M1 type shell painted desert tan, Ive seen some other helmets like the Iraqi M80 helmet with the same type of liner installed , I think it looks like something done by the Iraqis

      would you like to have this helmet in your collection? it looks like it's still in pretty good condition complete with liner & chin strap , looks like it still has some desert dirt inside too this Afghani soldier has some type of eastern european steel helmet

      here is a photo showing IRAQI paratroopers wearing the Polish WZ63 / East German helmet they also wore French F1 para helmets

      the Hungarian M50 helmet is the first post WWII helmet manufactured by the Hungarians, these are not that easy to find, seems like you see the Polish WZ50 much more than the Hungarian M50 helmets on ebay lots of these were also exported to the middle east and used in the Arab / Israeli wars
