I never gre up with the story and only read about it a couple of years ago, so I come into it "untainted"... But it seems there are two camps... those who believe it 1000%... and see any critical discussion as sacriledge... and those who kind of look down on the account, and dont take into account that even if less dramatic than portrayed... it was still a brave action.
