Avitas
Yes, that is an extremely nice badge The construction appears to be very heavy and some intricate detailing there. Where do you keep finding these Don? Cheers,Pat
Scowen
Thank you Gentlemen. I forgot to say that it's 27mm across, so a tad larger than a party badge.Joe, I hadn't thought of that, I'll put it up for William on GDC as I don't think he comes here.CheersDon
BURGERHAUS
Don How on Earth do you find those? Is this badge for a shooting competition or is it from a training facility? Would you know what the wording on the top of the badge means. I found Ehren which means honorary and nadel has a number of meanings none of which have anything to do with shooting. I like the placement of the Hakenkreuz. Not too overpowering but there just the same. A real beauty I have never seen. Bravo!
Scowen
Thanks Robert. I've no real idea what it's for, an Ehrennadel is just an honour needle (or pin). I assume it's either for a distinguished member of the Th?ringen D.Sch.V or perhaps a prize in a competition, but I don't know.CheersDon
