Hello,

I have a ribbon bar that I picked up for a great price(I think). It has a W?rttemberg Friedrich Order Knight 2nd class with swords.

My question is, what type of medal is this? Valor or "service" based? What ranks would have recieved this award?

Here is a very rough scan(I had to blow it up x200). I will add better pics when it comes in.

That is a shame... Why do people do things like that??? I bet that it was a perfectly good bar before someone had to tinker with it!
