Chris Boonzaier
Just found a great site about vickers guns...http://www.vickersmachinegun.org.uk/This seems to be a small parts wallet, where the exchange parts were kept in. the catch and buckle were removed.I have no proof, but I would bet this was "souveniered " by a German who removed the buckles and used it as a wallet, during and long after the war.It is in the style of wallets of those days and without the buckle must have served its purpose well.
