Sal Williams Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Hi Guys,Has anyone got any information on Alfred Richard Fischer Junker der Waffen SS? I have a LOT of feldpost letters from this man to his (future) wife spanning from 1941 through 1945. He bacame SS in 44 (pretty late, maybe he didn't see the writing on the wall ). Also among his future wifes suitors was another SS man and a guy from Gross Deutschland. I have a few of thier letters as well. A few of the stamps indicate Herr Fischer was posting from a glider school feldpost. The story looks like it could be interesting but I don't really know where to start (or how rather) researching it. They were from Vienna Austria BTW. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Best, Sal
Sal Williams Posted July 9, 2005 Author Posted July 9, 2005 What about my poor little SS guy Rick????
Guest Rick Research Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 My 1944 SS Lists are only from Sturmbannf?hrer up, and he was an officer-candidate.
Sal Williams Posted July 14, 2005 Author Posted July 14, 2005 AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH , my little nazi is being quite elusive!!!!
John P. Moore Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Your man does not appear to have made it to Standarten-Oberjunker as I don`t find a match on my "F?hrerliste der Waffen-SS" records. There was a Ustuf. Richard Fischer in late 1944, however, he was in the 9./LSSAH in 1941 as a Strm.John
