DavidM Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 (edited) HelloI've just received this nice frosty, near mint EK1, marked '26' for B H Mayer. The small brownish thing on the lower right of the core was a small piece of the tissue paper it came wrapped in, since blown off the cross. As usual, any comments or observations welcomed. DavidM Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 DavidVery nice example from this maker. Is it cased? If so, is the case the square button variety?RichHelloThanks for the comments. No, unfortunately it didn't come with a case, but I had a WW2 issue EK case which it is now living in - just to help ensure that it stays in this condition !!
Richard Gordon Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I have 2 but this is the best condition one. Slightly worn and the frosting not as white as yours, david.
ekhunter Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Unmarked too. That's nice, you don't see many of these unmarked.
DavidM Posted November 22, 2006 Author Posted November 22, 2006 HelloAbsolutely super cross you have there Richard. Where can I get the stands from that you photograph your EKs etc on ?
Richard Gordon Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 DavidThey were pointed out to me on Ebay. Here's a current listing:http://cgi.ebay.com/5-POCKET-WATCH-DISPLAY...1QQcmdZViewItemRich
