    thanks for this great image! by chance do you have an image of the crossed swords on the EK II ribbon that was wear in the button hole and indicate the award of the swords?

    Sorry, but most of my collection is packed away ready for a move. I did the scan some time ago. When my collection sees the light of day again (probably in January), I'll get the measurements for you.

    Rick (Research) has a similar example and can probably give you some dimensions.

    They are all different sizes-- basically the same as anything that fit on the large 25mm wide ribbon bar ribbons.

    Hauptmann Beeckmann wearing this style in 1929:

    Also common in this style wear was a separate crown over large crossed swords. It was each wearer's preference-- no regulations governed measurements on these.

    My example above is 20mm high and 28mm wide--and that is rather SMALL for the ones usually worn on a buttonhole ribbon.
