JensF. Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Gentlemen,we, the team of the Battle of Verdun Website, started this weekend a discussion forum about the Battle of Verdun. Please visit our forum and help with your postings and questions to bring this new forum to life. There is for example a thread about the german Minenwerfer (in "Strategy, tactics, weapons and equipment") and more. Many thanks for your visit and contributions!http://80.126.27.139/VerdunForum/index.phpwww.battleofverdun.nl

JensF. Posted April 9, 2007 Author Posted April 9, 2007 Happy Easter to all and special thanks to the GMIC-members who joined our forum. All the others may feel free, join and take part in the discussions as well. I think we built a small but really good forum for all Battle of Verdun historians.http://forum.battleofverdun.nl
JensF. Posted October 8, 2007 Author Posted October 8, 2007 (edited) I just want to inform you again about our Verdun-Forum (in english language!). We got many more categories now, including a trenchmap-subforum:http://forum.battleofverdun.nl Edited October 8, 2007 by JensF.
Chris Boonzaier Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 As that forum no longer exists... we are trying a small Verdun sub forum of our own down in the WW1 history section.... if anyone is interested, please drop by....

Chris, Thanks for starting this up. As you know, the plug on the old Verdun forum Jens mentioned above was pulled without any warning at all--leaving the members without any chance to form another group. I should mention that Jen's himself was not involved in the poor handling of this closure. Hopefully we can have some good discussions here. Paul
