Hey DonC,

That is a fantastic looking uniform. The waffenrock had to be the the smartest uniform a German Heer E.M. could have! I love the orange also. That is sweet. Can you post any detail shots of the Eagle,tabs,boards and cuffs? With a waffenrock the detail of the insignia in these areas is great!! Thanks for showing this. Cannot wait to see more.

I'll post some more pics tonight - it is neat in that the shoulderstraps were obviously done very carefully when the guy was promoted - the stitching is very careful, but in using a slightly different tress, you get a different patina on it. And it doesn't glow!
