Guest Rick Research Posted December 24, 2006 Share Posted December 24, 2006 It's been a long time (too long) since I was able to get anything for my old insignia collection, but here is a nice pair, showing a period "cheapo" upgrade from Major to Lieutenant Colonel: These are, as far as I can tell, for technical, engineering, or administrative branches of the railways and military transportation corps, other than motor transport.
