Taz
Hi StogiemanTo try and answer a question from another collector, do have an idea what metals are used to make this order?Regards Eddie
Stogieman
Hi Taz, it has six (6) seperate pieces and at this point seems to be the most complex of the orders with respects to construction. There may be some silver involved, but the bulk seems to be base metals and gilded, like so many other of the orders. There appears to have been precious little precious metals used in the assembly of any Cuban Order known thus far. Perhaps a decision of expediency, or perhaps one of neccessity. I suspect it will be some time before we have any definitive concepts.
