Guest Rick Research Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Well, not from the microscopic blurry, but the "Chief of the Order Police" as it says wasKurt DALUEGEand he was General der Polizei up to his promotion on 20 April 1942, so this miniature fragment of an ?? officer's commission predates that. The doc belongs to the man pictured on the right. Look closely for the clue. More later, and thanks again. A comparison of this signature and the one pictured in Michael Miller's new reference book "Leaders of the SS & German Police" Vol. 1 pertaining to D.shows great similarity. The Polizei Bergfuehrerabzeichen doc should be back from the hospital in a few weeks and I'll post some before and afters, if anyone is interested.
