stevo4361 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 (edited) Hi guys, 3rd one, and the one which I am really unsure on. Arms are, to my eye, a bit skewed and not symmetrical. But comparing the eagle to the ones on medalnet.net it looks OK, and upon really examing the cross with a loop found the maker mark "ZEHN" stamped extremely lightly between the 3 and 6 o'clock arms, and read that ZEHN is an accepted Berlin maker of this award. Appreciate any info guys!Kind Regards,Steve Edited February 14, 2007 by stevo4361
dond Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Is it me or is there a general lack of symetry about this award?
stevo4361 Posted February 14, 2007 Author Posted February 14, 2007 Hi Don, Yes, there definetly is, especially the 9 o'clock arm looks like it was bent down, when looking from the obverse.Kind Regards,Steve
Jacky Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Still a nice award, might be a little flaw, don't know whether one has to worry about the bent down arm...Kind regards,Jacky
stevo4361 Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 Thanks Jacky, That's what I'm hoping and thinking it is; other than that everything else appears to be in order.Kind Regards,Steve
Riley1965 Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 This is an Imperial "Newbie" Question. What does RAO stand for? It's a Beautiful medal Doc
