The tabs do look rather poorly applied... perhaps post war?

Please make a clearer scan of the label so we can SEE it. El...ing (?)Oblt dated in 193?-- I simply can not SEE it, sideways and shiny.

If the ink is hard to read, sometimes it will show better if you put the label on a XEROX machine and make a black and white copy that way.
