Stogieman Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Keep forgetting to post these images. One of the Cuban "Distinci?n" medals, Distinci?n "Armando Mestre" Awarded for 25 years long service in the Construction Industry.
Guest Rick Research Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Agh. Well, that is TWO of the occupationals first time I've seen--within 3 minutes-- and this one (no portrait of its eponymous subject?!) DOES have the generic Council of State reverse.
Taz Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 (edited) This seems to be the Medalla "Por el Servicio Ejemplar en FAR" on the Distinci?n "Armando Mestre" ribbon, a close look at the obverse shows the wording Servicio Ejemplar. This would also explain why the Cuban coat of arms is on the reverse and not the usual Trade union ones found on these medal types.
