Legion condor hats

Members of the LC worn several kind of headgears, of which some very odds. Lw ground units , Panzer and signal unit, worn in very few number a kind of "Australian" form hat. Many someone know the explanation.

The Spanish Foreign Legion used a very similar hat called "Chambergo" during the Spanish campaigns in Morocco:

May be the response is there. Some german volunteers were equiped with this headgear .

Hello : The Legion Española used the wide brimmed hat during the moroccan wars but not alone , it was of general use by the cavalry and artillery . the chambergo never dissapeared totally in the emergence of the war there were old stocks of them available in depots . they used the hats . for other explication , the LC was juridically equaled with the Tercio and had close ties with these,
