Snoopy Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 HelloThis item won't win any beauty contest, but I find it interresting. It's a gyro from the guidence system of a Henschel Hs 293, guided antishipping bomb. These weapons where carried by multiengined aircraft, like the Focke wulf Fw 200C-6 Condor, Dornier Do 217E-5 and the Heinkel He 177A-5 Greif. A small shipment of these weapons was delivered to the germans in Norway in 1945. After the war they where taken over by the norwegians, and used for instructional purposes. My gyro allmost certainly comes from one of these.
